ASKING AND GIVING OPINION
Linguistically, asking means asking while opinion has the meaning of opinion. When the two words are combined, asking an opinion means "asking for an opinion" or "asking an opinion". Asking opinion is used when you want to ask or need the opinion of others. There are many ways to ask your opinion in English:

Ole: Yes, I have.
Lyl: What do you think about it?
Ole: Personally, I think the flavor is little bit too sweet.
Lyl: Hmm, I disagree with you.
Ole: Then, what is your point of view?
Lyl: In my opinion the cake and bread is delicious.
Ole: Fair enough, As far as I am concerned they’re still new so they can still develop.
Lyl: Yes, I totally agree with you.
